Developer ProbablyMonsters has announced that its upcoming gothic action RPG Crimson Moon will launch on September 1, 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Alongside the release date, the studio has also confirmed the game’s editions and pricing.
The Standard Edition will cost $19.99 and includes the base game. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $29.99, includes the base game, a post-launch content expansion, the Ceremonial Armor Set DLC, and the Axe of the Gods DLC.
Crimson Moon is a gothic action-adventure RPG set in the fallen city of Gildenarch. Players take on the role of a Nephilim, a half-human, half-angel warrior tasked with protecting humanity from demonic forces.
The game features souls-inspired melee combat, supernatural abilities, and battles against demons, vampires, undead enemies, and powerful bosses known as the Dead Gods. Players can tackle the campaign alone or team up with a friend in two-player co-op.
Each run offers new challenges, while permanent upgrades and character progression are handled from the Church headquarters between missions. Players can also unlock stronger Nephilim abilities and take on increasingly difficult missions as they progress.
With its gothic setting, fast-paced combat, and optional co-op gameplay, Crimson Moon aims to deliver an action RPG experience focused on replayability when it launches on September 1.
