Microsoft has announced a new lineup of games for this week’s Xbox Free Play Days event. Xbox players can try five games for free over the weekend, including Grand Theft Auto Online, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Planet Zoo: Console Edition, Crisol: Theater of Idols, and Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports.
Interestingly, two of these games can be played without an Xbox Game Pass subscription, while the remaining three are available only for Game Pass members.
This week, all Xbox players can jump into Grand Theft Auto Online without needing an Xbox Game Pass subscription. However, the offer is limited to the enhanced Xbox Series X|S version of the game.
Unlike the other Free Play Days titles, GTA Online will remain free to play until July 21.
Players can also enjoy Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for free during the event. The action RPG lets players create their own character and travel through iconic moments from the Dragon Ball series while battling famous enemies.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and Core members can also play three more games at no extra cost:
- Planet Zoo: Console Edition
- Crisol: Theater of Idols
- Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports
These games are available only for eligible Game Pass subscribers during the Free Play Days event.
The games are available on the following platforms:
- Grand Theft Auto Online: Xbox Series X|S
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows
- Crisol: Theater of Idols: Xbox Series X|S
- Planet Zoo: Console Edition: Xbox Series X|S
- Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows
Except for GTA Online, all Free Play Days games can be played until July 19 at 11:59 PM PT. GTA Online will remain free to play until July 21.
Players can find all Free Play Days titles by opening the Microsoft Store on their Xbox console and visiting the Subscriptions section, where the games will be available to download and play during the promotion.
