Roblox has officially added Hindi language support to its platform, Creator Hub, and Roblox Studio. The update will make it easier for Hindi-speaking users to access the platform, create games, and interact with content in their preferred language.
With the new update, users can select Hindi as their account language and get a fully localized Roblox interface. To enable Hindi, users need to open the Roblox app, go to Settings > Account Info > Language, select Hindi, and save the changes.
The update also brings automatic Hindi translation support for creators. This will allow developers to make their Roblox games and avatar creations available to Hindi-speaking users without manually translating every element.
Currently, Hindi translation support includes in-game text, game products, game names, and game descriptions.
Roblox India Managing Director Sunil Rao said that language should not become a barrier for creativity. He added that Hindi support will help Indian gamers and creators connect better and express themselves on the platform.
Along with Hindi localization, Roblox has also enabled Hindi SEO support. This will allow Hindi-specific Roblox pages, assets, and experiences to appear more easily in search results when users search for Roblox-related content in Hindi.
This also suggests Roblox is taking India more seriously. The company has been expanding its presence in the country, and Hindi support could be the first of several localization efforts. It has already been confirmed that Hindi chat translation is planned, so more India-focused features could arrive in the future.
India has become an important market for gaming platforms, with millions of users consuming and creating gaming content. By adding Hindi support, Roblox aims to attract more players and creators from India’s growing gaming community.
