Oppo Confirms A7 Pro Max With Massive 10,000mAh Battery, Launch Expected Soon

Oppo A7 Pro Max

Oppo has officially confirmed the existence of the upcoming Oppo A7 Pro Max. The company shared a teaser on Weibo, confirming that the smartphone will pack a massive 10,000mAh battery. This will be the biggest battery ever used in an Oppo smartphone.

The confirmation comes just days after leaks revealed the phone’s name and several key specifications. Oppo has not announced the launch date yet, but the teaser suggests the phone will be unveiled soon.

A 10,000mAh battery is much larger than what we usually see in smartphones, where most devices offer between 6,000mAh and 7,000mAh batteries. It should easily deliver more than a full day of heavy usage and could even last multiple days for many users.

According to recent leaks, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to offer smoother scrolling and a better viewing experience.

The phone is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. It recently appeared on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM, suggesting the device will offer solid performance for daily tasks, gaming, and multitasking.

The smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear camera along with a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it could get a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls.

Despite packing such a large battery, the phone is rumored to measure just 8.47mm in thickness and weigh around 226 grams. It is also expected to support 80W wired fast charging, which should significantly reduce charging time for the large battery.

Oppo has only confirmed the battery capacity so far. However, with the launch expected soon, the company is likely to reveal more details about the A7 Pro Max in the coming days.
