OnePlus has launched the new OnePlus N6x smartphone in India. The latest addition to the N series focuses on battery life, durability, and long-term performance. The phone comes with a large 7,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset.

The OnePlus N6x features a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels. The screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 254 PPI pixel density, and a 19.6:9 aspect ratio. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.4%.
The display supports 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rate switching along with Smart Switch Refresh Rate. It also comes with features like Eye Protection Mode, Dark Mode, automatic brightness adjustment, and colour temperature adjustment.
The OnePlus N6x is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor paired with 4GB RAM. It comes in two storage options: 64GB and 128GB.
The smartphone runs on OxygenOS 16 and includes a large 13,280mm² heat dissipation system to manage temperatures during extended usage. It also comes with a 48-month smooth experience certification for the 4GB+128GB variant and a 36-month smooth experience certification for the 4GB+64GB variant.
The phone also features a 5,300mm² VC cooling system, according to OnePlus, to improve heat management during gaming and heavy tasks.
OnePlus N6x comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, and PDAF support. The rear camera supports up to 10x digital zoom and can record videos at up to 1080p 30fps.
The camera also supports features like Portrait mode, Night mode, Pro mode, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time-lapse, Dual-view video, and Google Lens.
On the front, the smartphone gets a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports 1080p video recording, Time-lapse, Portrait mode, and Dual-view video.
It packs a large 7,000mAh battery. OnePlus claims that the phone can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge. The company also claims up to 20.56 hours of video streaming, 133.56 hours of music playback, and 25.04 hours of social media usage.
The phone supports Ultra Power Saving Mode, which keeps essential features running even when the battery drops to 1%. OnePlus says the battery is rated for 1,600 charging cycles and can retain more than 80% battery health after six years.
The N6x also comes with features like bypass charging to reduce heat during long gaming sessions, reverse charging to power accessories, and Night Charging Mode to manage charging overnight.
For durability, the smartphone comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and IP64 dust and water resistance. OnePlus says the phone has been tested against extreme temperatures, salt corrosion, sand and dust exposure, and multiple drop tests. It also features ArmorShell Protection with reinforced corners, airbag cushioning, hardened glass, and an aluminium frame.
OnePlus N6x comes in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue colour options.
The OnePlus N6x starts at ₹17,499 in India. It will go on sale from August 4, 2026, at 12 noon IST.
The smartphone is available in two variants:
- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage: ₹18,999 (Net effective price ₹17,499)
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: ₹20,999 (Net effective price ₹19,499)
Customers can get up to ₹1,500 instant bank discount on select credit cards and EMI transactions. The phone also comes with up to six months of no-cost EMI options on select bank cards.
The OnePlus N6x will be available through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, Amazon India, OnePlus Experience Stores, and select retail outlets across India.
