NVIDIA has announced a new update for its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service. The update not only adds support for five more games but also marks the official launch of GeForce NOW in India. The service had been available in beta in India since April this year. With the latest update, the beta phase has ended, and Indian gamers can now access the full service with multiple membership options.
NVIDIA has introduced new membership options for users in India. Gamers can now choose from Performance and Ultimate monthly plans, flexible Day Passes, or continue using the free tier. The company has also added UPI payment support, making it easier for Indian users to purchase memberships and day passes.
The launch comes just a week after NVIDIA upgraded its Toronto servers with RTX 5080 GPUs. While India is not getting a hardware upgrade, the service is now officially available beyond its beta phase.
NVIDIA has expanded the GeForce NOW library with support for five more games this week. Most of the new additions are indie titles, along with a demo for Capcom’s upcoming action game.
The newly supported games are:
- Denshattack!
- The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu
- Heave Ho 2
- Fogpiercer
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword Demo
Among these, Denshattack! and Fogpiercer are also available through Xbox Game Pass.
NVIDIA has confirmed that more games will be added to the GeForce NOW library later this month.
It is worth noting that GeForce NOW does not include access to games with the subscription itself. Players must already own the game on a supported digital store or have access through services such as PC Game Pass before they can stream it using NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform.
