realme has officially launched the new realme P4R 5G smartphone in India. The phone targets young users and focuses on battery life, gaming performance, durability, and AI-powered features.
realme P4R 5G sports a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits of brightness. It also supports up to 180Hz touch sampling rate for improved responsiveness.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The company claims the device has passed a 48-month fluency test and offers improved long-term performance.
The device features a 5300mm² AirFlow Vapour Chamber cooling system. The company says the cooling system helps maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions and can deliver a steady 60fps experience in games such as BGMI and Free Fire.
The device runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0. realme has promised two years of Android updates and three years of security updates for the device.
The phone includes a 50MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. Both cameras support Motion Photo functionality. The software experience is enhanced by realme’s NEXT AI suite, which offers several AI-powered productivity and media editing tools.
It has an ultra-linear speaker system that supports up to 400% Ultra Volume mode. It has a side-mounted finger sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C 2.0.
realme P4R 5G packs a 8000mAh battery. Realme says the battery can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge.
Despite the large battery, the phone measures 8.88mm in thickness and weighs 224 grams. The device comes with an ArmorShell design and has received MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification. It also features an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
The realme P4R 5G will be available in Titanium Glare, Silver Glare, and Lavender Glare colour options.
