ATLUS has confirmed that Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
The announcement gives fans a release date for the remake of one of the most beloved entries in the Persona series. Originally released in 2008, Persona 4 remains a fan favorite thanks to its memorable cast, murder mystery story, and unique small-town setting.
Set in the rural Japanese town of Inaba, Persona 4 Revival follows a group of high school students investigating a series of mysterious murders linked to a strange TV channel that only appears on rainy nights. As the mystery deepens, the group discovers another world hidden inside televisions and awakens powerful abilities known as Personas.
The remake retains the original story and turn-based combat while introducing modern visuals and updated presentation. ATLUS says players can once again spend their days attending classes, building friendships, joining clubs, working part-time jobs, and developing Social Links with other characters. These relationships play a key role in both the story and gameplay.
Combat remains centered around exploiting enemy weaknesses and launching powerful All-Out Attacks. Players will also be able to collect and equip different Personas, allowing for a variety of combat styles and strategies.
One of the biggest upgrades is the visual overhaul. Inaba has been rebuilt with modern graphics while maintaining the charm and atmosphere that made the original game so memorable. From rainy streets to sunset-lit riversides, ATLUS aims to make the town feel more alive than ever.
Pre-orders are now live across all platforms. Fans looking for extra collectibles can pick up the Collector’s Edition, which includes an artbook, SteelBook case, statue of the protagonist and Izanagi, keycaps, keychain, and several DLC packs. Digital Deluxe and Premium Editions are also available with additional Personas, costumes, and music packs inspired by Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal.
The release date announcement comes soon after ATLUS officially revealed Persona 6 during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. With both Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 now on the horizon, the future looks bright for fans of the long-running RPG franchise.
