JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC Headphones with ANC and Spatial Audio Launched in India

JBL Live 780NC

JBL has launched two new premium wireless headphones in India, the JBL Live 780NC and JBL Live 680NC. The new models are designed for users who want immersive sound, effective noise cancellation, long battery life, and a stylish design.

The company says the new JBL Live series is aimed at consumers who want technology that fits their lifestyle while also delivering a premium audio experience. Both headphones come with JBL’s signature sound, adaptive noise cancellation, personalized audio features, and support for high-resolution wireless audio.

The JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC are powered by 40mm dynamic drivers with a compound diaphragm. They support JBL Spatial Sound 3.0, which creates a more immersive listening experience while watching movies, listening to music, or enjoying podcasts.

Both headphones also feature Personi-Fi 3.0, which allows users to customize the audio profile according to their hearing preferences. Support for LDAC is also there for high-resolution wireless audio on compatible devices.

JBL has also added True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, which automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on the surrounding environment. The company claims this helps reduce distractions and improve the overall listening experience.

For voice calls, both models use JBL’s Perfect Calls 2.0 technology with beamforming microphones and an AI-trained noise reduction algorithm to improve call clarity.

The headphones also support multipoint connectivity, customizable controls through the JBL Headphones app, and Auracast audio sharing.

Both headphones offer up to 50 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation enabled. With ANC turned off, users can get up to 80 hours of listening time. JBL also claims that a quick five-minute charge can provide up to four hours of playback.

JBL Live 780NC vs JBL Live 680NC: What’s Different?

While the two headphones share many features, there are some important differences.

The JBL Live 780NC is an over-ear headphone designed for users who prefer larger ear cups and better comfort during extended listening sessions. It comes with six microphones for adaptive noise cancellation and includes additional features such as Personal Sound Amplification, Low Volume EQ, and Bluetooth LE Audio support.

The JBL Live 680NC uses an on-ear design, making it more compact and lighter. It features four microphones for adaptive noise cancellation and does not include Personal Sound Amplification, Low Volume EQ, or LE Audio support.

Despite these differences, both models offer the same battery life, JBL Spatial Sound 3.0, Personi-Fi 3.0, LDAC support, multipoint connectivity, and Bluetooth 6.0.
