As we already know, Rockstar will begin pre-orders of Grand Theft Auto VI on June 25 at midnight local time. The company has now also confirmed the pricing and launch editions ahead of release.
The Standard Edition of GTA VI will be priced at $79.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This puts it above the current $70 price point that many major AAA games have followed in recent years. It is a clear step into a higher pricing bracket for big-budget console titles.
Rockstar has also announced an Ultimate Edition priced at $99.99. This edition will include additional in-game content such as exclusive vehicles, weapons, apparel, and other extras tied to the story of Jason and Lucia. It is designed for players who want a more expanded experience at launch.
With this pricing, GTA VI joins a growing trend of premium game releases moving beyond the traditional standard pricing model. The difference between the two editions also shows Rockstar’s focus on offering layered content for different types of players.
Pre-orders for both editions will open on June 25, while more details on bonuses and physical availability are expected closer to launch. Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
