Games Store Offers The Ouroboros King and Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks for Free This Week

Epic Games Freebies

The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly free game lineup and is now offering two new titles for PC gamers. Replacing last week’s giveaways, Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest, the latest free games are The Ouroboros King and Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks.

As part of Epic Games Store’s weekly promotion, users can claim both games for free and keep them permanently in their library. The offer is available for a limited time before a new set of free games takes its place next week.

The Ouroboros King is a unique strategy game that combines traditional chess mechanics with roguelike gameplay. Players can build and customize their own army using a variety of chess-inspired units before taking on enemy factions across a procedurally generated world map.

The game features special unit abilities, relics that can dramatically change gameplay, and numerous build combinations that encourage experimentation. By blending chess tactics with roguelike progression, the title offers a fresh experience for strategy enthusiasts.

The second free game is Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks, a multiplayer combat racing title developed by Caged Element. Released last year, the game is set in the Warhammer 40K universe and lets players pilot heavily armed Ork vehicles, including buggies, tanks, and aircraft.

The gameplay focuses on fast-paced multiplayer action, combining racing and vehicular combat. Players must battle opponents while racing toward objectives and surviving the chaos on the battlefield.

The game recently received a free update that introduced cross-platform play between PC and consoles, helping improve matchmaking times and expanding the available player base.

Both The Ouroboros King and Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks can be claimed for free through the Epic Games Store for a limited period. Once claimed, the games will remain permanently available in the user’s Epic Games Store library.
