Bohemia Interactive has announced that DayZ Cool Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The new version will bring the popular open-world survival game to Nintendo’s latest console.
DayZ is a multiplayer survival sandbox game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players must survive in a harsh environment while dealing with hunger, disease, hostile players, and limited resources.
According to Nintendo, DayZ Cool Edition will offer complete freedom to explore large open-world environments. The game focuses on player-driven experiences, where every encounter can lead to unique and unpredictable situations.
Unlike many survival games that rely heavily on scripted events, DayZ allows players to create their own stories through interactions with other survivors. Players can choose to work together, trade resources, or engage in combat as they try to stay alive.
