AquaAirX co-founders Jitendra Saini and Gouthami T S have been named to the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 List 2026 in the Industry, Manufacturing & Energy category. The recognition places them among the region’s top young entrepreneurs and innovators.
Founded in Bengaluru, AquaAirX is a deep-tech startup developing autonomous aerial and underwater robotic systems. The company is working on amphibious autonomous platforms that can operate both in the air and underwater.
Its technology is being developed for applications such as maritime surveillance, infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, coastal security, and emergency response.
The Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list recognizes 300 young leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s list was selected from nearly 4,000 nominations.
Commenting on the achievement, co-founder Jitendra Saini said the recognition reflects the hard work of the entire AquaAirX team. He added that the company remains committed to building globally competitive autonomous systems from India.
Co-founder Gouthami T S said the future of robotics lies in intelligent systems that can operate across challenging environments. She added that AquaAirX will continue to focus on innovation in autonomy, sensing technologies, and robotics.
The recognition comes at an important time for the startup. Earlier this year, AquaAirX raised seed funding led by Rainmatter, the investment arm of Zerodha. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate research, product development, and deployment of its technology.
The achievement also notes the growing strength of India’s deep-tech startup ecosystem. In recent years, Indian startups have made significant progress in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing.
