Xbox Free Play Days Brings Gears of War: Reloaded, Dying Light, and More This Weekend

Xbox Free Play Days

Microsoft has announced a fresh lineup of Free Play Days games for Xbox players this weekend. This time, the promotion includes some major titles like Gears of War: Reloaded and Dying Light: Definitive Edition.

One of the best parts about this week’s offer is that some games are available for all Xbox players without requiring a Game Pass subscription.

The fully free-to-play section includes Gears of War: Reloaded, the recently released remaster of the classic shooter. The game brings improved visuals and updated features while keeping the original gameplay fans loved. Xbox players can also try High On Life 2, the humorous sci-fi shooter from Squanch Games. The sequel brings back its talking guns and adds new movement mechanics like skating. However, Microsoft says this title comes with a 5-hour play limit during the promotion.

Meanwhile, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers can access Dying Light: Definitive Edition. The game remains one of the most popular open-world zombie survival experiences with parkour movement and intense nighttime gameplay.

Racing fans can also check out Formula Legends, which focuses on driving iconic race cars from different eras across legendary tracks.

Here are the games included in this week’s Free Play Days event:

Players can find the games by opening the Xbox Store, heading to the Home section in the sidebar, and then opening the Subscriptions tab where the Free Play Days collection is listed.

The promotion will remain active until Sunday, May 31, at 11:59 PM PT.
