vivo X300 FE with 6.31-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and ZEISS Cameras Launched in India

vivo X300 FE

vivo has launched the new vivo X300 FE in India. The smartphone joins the company’s premium X300 lineup, but unlike the vivo X300 Ultra model, the X300 FE focuses on users who want flagship-grade performance and camera capabilities in a relatively compact form factor.

The vivo X300 FE features a 6.31-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display. This makes it significantly more compact compared to most flagship smartphones currently available in the market. The display supports a 1.5K resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels and adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz. It boasts the peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, which should help improve outdoor visibility under direct sunlight. vivo has also included ZEISS Master Color Display technology for more accurate colors and better visual reproduction. The panel supports 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming as well.

The phone uses aerospace-grade aluminum frame with rounded corners and flat edges. vivo says the frame design is intended to reduce accidental touches while maintaining comfortable handling.

The rear camera module adopts a horizontal layout with what vivo calls a “floating droplet cold-sculpting” design. According to the company, this design helps the camera island blend more naturally into the rear panel while also minimizing visible smudges.

The smartphone comes in Urban Olive, Lilac Purple, and Noir Black color options.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor featuring a custom Oryon CPU architecture with an all-big-core design. The device includes LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

To maintain stable performance under gaming and intensive camera workloads, vivo has added a large 4005mm² VC liquid cooling system paired with high-performance thermal graphite.

Like the rest of the X300 series, the X300 FE places heavy focus on photography and videography. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup co-engineered with ZEISS.

The primary camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS support and an f/1.57 aperture. This sensor is expected to deliver strong low-light performance and improved dynamic range. vivo is also using its computational photography pipeline and AI optimization systems to enhance image processing.

The phone also includes a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto camera based on the Sony IMX882 sensor. The camera supports 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. vivo has also introduced support for the optional vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 accessory, which offers a 200mm equivalent focal length using a compact Kepler-based optical structure.

The third rear camera is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 106-degree field of view designed for landscapes and group shots.

For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 50MP autofocus front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The X300 FE includes ZEISS Multifocal Portrait support with five classic focal lengths: 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm. vivo has also integrated ZEISS Style Bokeh effects and adaptive Flash Portrait lighting to improve portrait photography under different lighting conditions.

The smartphone further includes several AI-powered imaging technologies, including AI True Clarity Engine for RAW-level optimization, AI-enabled 200MP upscaling, Street Photography Mode with rapid capture, and 14-bit processing

On the video side, the smartphone supports 4K 60fps Pro Video, 4K 120fps recording, and 8K 30fps recording.

The X300 FE also brings a large set of AI features covering imaging, productivity, and audio enhancement. The AI Creative Camera can detect scenes and recommend more than 25 visual styles, including Sunlight, Mist Spotlight, Phoenix, and Snowy presets.

The phone also includes AI editing tools such as AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, AI Reflection Erase, AI Erase, and Live Cutout.

System-level AI features include AI Search for natural language queries, AI Creation for rewriting and summarization, and AI Captions for real-time transcription and multilingual translation.

There is also an AI Audio Noise Eraser that isolates human voices from surrounding background noise.

The device also includes Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanning 2.0, which can work even with wet fingers. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 6.0, GPS (L1 + L5), USB Type-C 2.0, and NFC.

Despite the relatively compact form factor, the smartphone packs a large 6500mAh battery. vivo claims this is the largest battery currently available in India in this screen size category. It also supports 90W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless FlashCharge.

The vivo X300 FE comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. For durability, vivo has used SCHOTT Xensation cover glass and SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification with military-grade durability standards.
