Lava has launched the Lava SHARK 2 5G in India. The smartphone arrives as the successor to the company’s popular SHARK series and targets budget buyers looking for a 5G smartphone with a large battery and smooth display.

The Lava SHARK 2 5G features a flat-edge design and comes in Sonar Gold and Arya Blue color options. It sports a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations. The phone also comes with IP64 dust and splash resistance.

The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T8200 octa-core 6nm processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. It also supports up to 4GB virtual RAM expansion. The phone includes 64GB UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The device runs Android 16 and offers a clean Android experience without bloatware or ads.

It features a 13MP AI rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac, GPS, and support for multiple 5G bands. Lava SHARK 2 5G packs a large 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.

The Lava SHARK 2 5G is priced at Rs. 11,999 and will go on sale in India starting June 10, 2026 through Lava’s retail stores.

Lava is also offering its Free Service @ Home support program with the smartphone for doorstep after-sales service across India.
