HP Launches OmniBook Ultra 14, OmniBook X, and OmniBook 5 (2026) Laptops in India

HP OmniBook Ultra 14

HP has launched its new 2026 lineup of premium laptops in India. The company has introduced the refreshed HP OmniBook Ultra 14 (2026) along with the new HP OmniBook X (2026) and HP OmniBook 5 (2026).

The new OmniBook series focuses heavily on AI-powered features, premium displays, long battery life, and thin, lightweight designs. HP says the refreshed lineup can deliver up to 80 TOPS AI performance depending on the model and processor configuration.

HP OmniBook Ultra 14 (2026)

The HP OmniBook Ultra 14 (2026) is the flagship model in the lineup. It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor with a 16-core CPU. HP says the onboard NPU can deliver up to 50 TOPS AI performance.

The laptop runs Windows 11 and supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

It comes with a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen display. The display supports up to 500 nits of brightness and a variable refresh rate between 30Hz and 120Hz. The laptop also offers a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, which gives it a very modern and clean look.

HP has also included a vapour chamber cooling system with dual fans for thermal management.

The OmniBook Ultra 14 also includes a new latticeless keyboard design with a dedicated Copilot key and HP’s Waterfall haptic touchpad. For video calls and meetings, the laptop features a 5-megapixel IR webcam. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

The laptop packs a 70Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging. HP claims up to 22.75 hours of battery life and says the device can charge up to 50 percent in around 45 minutes.

The Snapdragon-powered HP OmniBook Ultra 14 (2026) starts at Rs. 1,89,999 and comes in a Stone Blue colour option. Meanwhile, the Intel-powered version starts at Rs. 2,14,999 and is available in Eclipse Gray and Silk Sand colours.

HP OmniBook 5 (2026)

The HP OmniBook 5 (2026) features a 14-inch 2K OLED display with up to 300 nits brightness and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. HP is also offering an optional touchscreen variant.

The laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor with an octa-core CPU. HP claims up to 49 TOPS AI performance on this model. It supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

The laptop includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support along with multiple ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A ports, and one HDMI port.

The laptop is just 13.6mm thick and weighs around 1.33kg, making it highly portable. It also includes a backlit keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key and a large touchpad with gesture controls.

HP says the OmniBook 5 can deliver up to 21.5 hours of battery life with its 59Wh battery. It also supports 65W fast charging and can reportedly charge up to 50 percent in around 30 minutes.

HP OmniBook X (2026)

The HP OmniBook X (2026) is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor with up to 16 cores and 16 threads. The processor can clock up to 4.7GHz. The laptop packs 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage.

It has a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz variable refresh rate, HDR, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage, and brightness of up to 1100 nits in HDR mode.

The OmniBook X also looks very slim and lightweight at just 12.6mm thickness and 1.3kg weight, making it easy to carry around. The laptop supports modern connectivity features, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. It packs a 70Wh battery.

The HP OmniBook X (2026) starts at Rs. 1,69,999 and comes in an Atmospheric Blue colour option.

HP OmniBook 5 (2026)

The HP OmniBook 5 (2026) runs Windows 11 Home and features a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.

It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, and HDMI.

The HP OmniBook 5 (2026) starts at Rs. 1,24,999 and is available in Meteor Silver and Sahara Silver colours.

The new laptops are now available in India through HP’s online and offline stores.
