BenQ has introduced its latest premium gaming monitor, the BenQ MOBIUZ EX271QZ, in India. The new display targets competitive gamers and creators by combining ultra-fast performance with high-end QD-OLED visuals.
The monitor features a 26.5-inch QHD QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. The most notable feature is the extremely high 500Hz refresh rate, paired with a 0.03ms response time. This makes it one of the fastest OLED gaming monitors currently available.
The panel supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and can reach up to 1000 nits peak brightness. It also offers 99 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage and supports 1.07 billion colours. This makes it suitable not just for gaming but also for content creation tasks where colour accuracy matters.
BenQ has added a few custom display technologies as well. The Game Art Color Profiles include Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Realistic modes that adjust visuals based on game style instead of just genre presets. Spectral Color Refinement works on balancing colours across the full visible spectrum, while High Pixel Contrast improves shadow detail without blowing out highlights. These features aim to deliver more consistent and immersive visuals.
The monitor includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC support, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C. It also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X passthrough for users with external audio setups. On the gaming side, it comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and motion blur reduction support.
Since it is an OLED panel, BenQ has included multiple protection features such as Pixel Refresh, Pixel Shift, Idle Dimmer, Logo Dimming, and a graphene-based cooling layer to reduce the risk of burn-in and improve panel longevity.
The monitor also offers ergonomic adjustments including height, tilt, and swivel, along with TÜV-certified eye care features like flicker-free technology and low blue light mode.
This monitor has a niche customer base and is mainly useful for professional esports players who play titles like CS2 or Valorant. OLED already offers deep blacks and excellent contrast, and adding quantum dot helps improve brightness and colour accuracy. That makes this monitor more versatile compared to traditional esports monitors.
It is priced at Rs. 84,998 and is already up for sale. Pricing is premium and it puts the monitor in segment where buyers also consider 4K high refresh rate monitors or larger OLED displays. So, the decision will depend on whether the user prioritizes speed over resolution.
