Paytm Gold Expands Physical Gold Delivery to 12,000+ Pin Codes Ahead of Akshaya Tritiya

Paytm Gold Expands Physical Gold Delivery

Paytm has announced a major update to its Paytm Gold service. The company has expanded doorstep delivery of physical gold to more than 12,000 pin codes across India.

The company announced this just before Akshaya Tritiya, when gold buying sees a sharp rise in the country. With this move, users can now easily convert their digital gold savings into physical gold coins and get them delivered at home. The service covers not only major cities but also smaller towns.

The company has partnered with MMTC-PAMP for this service. MMTC-PAMP. Is a joint venture between MMTC Ltd., a Government of India enterprise, and Switzerland-based MKS PAMP.

On the Paytm app, users can buy 24-karat digital gold starting at just ₹51. The price is based on live market rates. The digital gold is backed by real gold stored in insured and secure vaults managed by MMTC-PAMP. There are no storage charges for users.

Users also get the option to sell their digital gold anytime at live prices. This adds flexibility and liquidity.

To convert digital gold into physical gold, users can select the “Withdraw Gold” option in the app. They can then choose delivery, enter quantity, confirm charges, and place the request. The gold coins are then delivered to their address in supported pin codes. Making and delivery charges apply at the time of redemption.

Paytm also offers a Daily Gold SIP feature. This allows users to invest small amounts regularly and build their gold savings over time.

The company says this update is aimed at making gold investment simple and accessible. By expanding delivery reach, more users can now easily own physical gold without visiting a store.
