OnePlus has launched its new flagship tablet, OnePlus Pad 4, in India. The tablet comes with high-end specifications and is aimed at both entertainment and productivity users. The starting price is Rs. 59,999, and it will be available from May 5.
The OnePlus Pad 4 features a slim metal unibody design. It is just 5.94mm thick and weighs 672 grams. Despite having a large display, it is still easy to carry. The tablet comes in two color options, Dune Glow and Sage Mist.
The device has a 13.2-inch 3.4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports up to 1000 nits brightness and 12-bit color depth. The screen uses a 7:5 aspect ratio, which is designed to feel more like reading a book. For audio, the tablet includes an eight-speaker setup that adjusts sound based on orientation.
It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. OnePlus claims a big performance jump compared to the previous model. The tablet comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It also uses a large cooling system with a vapor chamber to keep temperatures under control during heavy usage.
The OnePlus Pad 4 runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. It supports multitasking with up to five apps open at the same time. OnePlus has also added several AI features such as AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translate, and AI Painter.
It also supports seamless connectivity features. You can mirror your phone screen, share clipboard data, and switch apps like Zoom or YouTube between devices.
The device has a 13 megapixels rear camera and an 8 megapixels front camera.
On the connectivity side, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and USB Type-C. OnePlus has also added an AI-powered smart antenna system, which is claimed to improve signal strength and offer up to 120 percent faster downloads in certain conditions. It also supports 5G sharing.
For audio, the OnePlus Pad 4 comes with an eight-speaker setup, including four woofers and four tweeters. The audio adjusts automatically based on how you hold the device.
The OnePlus Pad 4 packs a large 13,380mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
OnePlus has also introduced two accessories for the tablet. The OnePlus Stylo Pro comes with 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity and includes different tips for writing and drawing. It also has a “Find My Stylo” feature using Bluetooth. The Smart Keyboard features a cantilever design, a large touchpad, and keys that are bigger than many laptop keyboards.
Price and availability
The OnePlus Pad 4 is priced at Rs. 59,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB model costs Rs. 64,999. It will be available from May 5 via OnePlus online store, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline stores.
Launch offers include a Rs. 5,000 discount with select bank cards, up to 6 months no-cost EMI, and a free OnePlus Stylo Pro for a limited time.
