OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra in China. The phone focuses heavily on gaming performance and comes with powerful hardware, a high refresh rate display, and a huge battery.
The Ace 6 Ultra features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display made by BOE. It supports up to 165Hz refresh rate, which makes animations and gameplay feel very smooth. The phone also offers a 4000Hz instant touch sampling rate for faster response during gaming. It uses OPPO Crystal Shield Glass for protection and also supports PWM and DC-like dimming.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset built on a 3nm process. It is built for high performance, especially for gaming. OnePlus has added its new Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel and a Glacier Cooling System to keep temperatures under control. The company claims the phone can reach around 164.7 fps in Delta Force at high settings, which shows its gaming focus.
It is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
OnePlus has also introduced a new gaming accessory called the Gunfire Gaming Controller. It comes with physical trigger buttons, fast response time, and a special chip for better input handling. It also supports external cooling attachments, which can help during long gaming sessions.
The phone includes features designed for competitive gaming. These include better visual clarity, improved footstep sound detection, and an on-screen crosshair for aiming. These features are clearly targeted at shooting games.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It supports 4K video recording at 60fps. For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NavIC, and NFC. The device includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. It also comes with stereo speakers and USB Type-C audio.
The phone packs a 8600mAh battery, which is much larger than most phones in this segment. It supports 120W fast charging.
The phone weighs around 217g to 219g and has a thickness of 8.45mm. The device comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is available in multiple variants, starting at 3,799 yuan. The top variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage goes up to 5,399 yuan. The gaming controller is priced at 449 yuan. The phone is already on sale in China, with a limited-time discount of 300 yuan.
