Xbox is closing out the week with another Free Play Days lineup, which gives players a chance to try several games at no extra cost. From December 4 to December 7, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can jump into a wide mix of genres, including fishing simulation, space combat, JRPGs, and open-world hunting.
This week’s selection includes Bassmaster Fishing, Everspace 2, Astria Ascending, and Way of the Hunter. All four games are available to download and play on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Bassmaster, Everspace 2, and Astria Ascending are Xbox Play Anywhere titles, so players can switch between console and PC without losing progress.
Alongside these titles, Xbox is also offering a special trial for Destiny 2 expansions. Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can play The Witch Queen, Lightfall, and The Final Shape for free from December 2 through December 9. This gives players a full week to experience Bungie’s major story arcs and recent updates.
Meanwhile, Descenders, the downhill freeriding game with procedurally generated courses, is free for all Xbox players during the event. No subscription is required.
Xbox makes access simple: players can find the Free Play Days section under the Subscriptions tab on their console, or visit the game pages on Xbox.com to begin installation. Progress, Gamerscore and achievements earned during the trial will carry over if players choose to buy the game afterward. Many titles also have limited-time discounts running through the weekend.
