iMP Gaming has announced that its new Mini Arcade PRO accessory is now shipping. This small tabletop arcade setup is designed for the Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Switch OLED. It basically converts the Switch into a compact arcade machine. The device first appeared at Gamescom 2025. Since then, the gaming community has been waiting for it.
The Mini Arcade PRO arrives just in time for the holiday season. Players who enjoy classic shooters, retro titles, and beat ’em ups would find it great. You only need to slide in your Switch tablet using the included screen adapter. Once it is set, the setup gives you the feel of an actual arcade machine.
The accessory uses a real ball-top joystick with a micro-switched steel shaft. It also has an eight-button layout that feels close to traditional arcade controls. iMP Gaming says the unit works with most Switch and Switch 2 games.
The Mini Arcade PRO is made from durable ABS material, and the company claims it is easy to put together. There is also a switch that lets you change the joystick input between D-Pad mode and analog stick mode. This could help in different types of games.
There are small touches that make it more useful. The back of the unit can store up to 12 game cards, which keeps everything in one place. There are turbo buttons for older, tougher retro games, and dedicated buttons for Home and communication features.
The Mini Arcade PRO is now available through Amazon, Argos, and other gaming retailers. The price is £44.99 in the UK, €54.99 in Europe, and $79.99 in the US.
