ProbablyMonsters has announced that its roguelike action game Storm Lancers will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on December 9. The game will be priced at $19.99, and a free PC demo will be available starting November 25.
The game was first released for the original Nintendo Switch on September 12, and those who already own it will get a free upgrade to the Switch 2 version. Existing save data can also be transferred, so players can continue from where they left off.
The new versions will include HDR support, 60 frames per second gameplay, and online co-op features through Nintendo GameShare and Steam Remote Play Together. Players can now team up with friends online or locally, even if the other player does not own the game.
“Now more players than ever can battle their way through Cryptica with smoother action and online functions,” said Mark Subotnick, head of studios at ProbablyMonsters.
On PC, Storm Lancers will also support up to 4K resolution and Steam Deck compatibility. It allows players to enjoy the game anywhere.
