OnePlus has finally launched its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 15, in India. The device brings top-notch specs and starts at Rs. 72,999.

The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch LTPO 1.5K+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display can hit a high brightness mode of 1,800 nits, and drop down to just 1 nit for night reading. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The device keeps OnePlus’s signature sleek look and is offered in three distinct color finishes — Infinite Black, Sand Storm, and Ultra Violet. The Infinite Black has a frosted glass back for a matte and premium feel. The Sand Storm uses a lightweight fiberglass composite and micro-arc oxidized (MAO) metal frame, which is 1.3× harder than titanium for better durability. Ultra Violet offers a stunning gradient that shifts from violet to sapphire under different lighting conditions.

The phone also has IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, which make it resistant to dust, water immersion, and even high-pressure water jets up to 80°C.

It is the first phone in the country to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. This flagship SoC promises to offer top-tier performance. If you’re into gaming, heavy multitasking, or editing, this phone will deliver. It also has up to 16 GB LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage. The company has also included a dedicated touch-response chip offering 3,200 Hz sampling and a robust cooling system to manage thermals.

The device runs on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android 16, and introduces several AI-driven features. These include smarter interaction tools, language assistance, and enhanced imaging support. OnePlus has also deepened its collaboration with Google’s Gemini AI, enabling users to access “Mind Space” for contextual memory and information retrieval. The new Plus Mind feature acts as a personalized digital assistant that learns user behavior over time.

The OnePlus 15 is equipped with a triple camera setup:

  • 50 MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor (1/1.56″, f/1.8, OIS)
  • 50 MP ultra-wide camera with Omnivision OV50D sensor (f/2.0, 116° field of view)
  • 50 MP 3.5× periscope telephoto lens with Samsung JN5 sensor (f/2.8, OIS, 85 mm portrait lens)

It also has a new DetailMax Engine, which combines several advanced imaging technologies for better photos. The Ultra-Clear 26 MP mode merges multi-frame 12 MP data with a single 50 MP frame for improved detail without bloating file size. The Clear Burst shoots at 10 fps, up from 6 fps on the OnePlus 13, and uses dual-exposure anti-blur technology to capture sharp action shots. The Clear Night Engine enhances low-light photos using Dual Analog Gain for brighter, noise-free results.

Video recording goes up to 8K, while 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision is supported for high-quality, cinematic footage. On the front, it houses a 32 MP RGBW selfie camera using the Sony IMX709 sensor, capable of 4K 60 fps video recording.

The phone supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connectivity. It also features an infrared sensor, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and stereo speakers with rich audio output.

OnePlus 15

Battery life is one of the OnePlus 15’s biggest highlights. It comes with a 7300 mAh Silicon NanoStack battery, the largest ever in a OnePlus phone. The battery uses 15% silicon content, improving energy density and charging efficiency. It also supports 120W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. There is also a Bypass Charging mode that powers the device directly during gaming, reducing heat and protecting battery health. OnePlus claims the battery will retain over 80% of its health after four years of use and can operate reliably even in cold conditions down to –20°C.

The OnePlus 15 is priced at Rs. 72,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and the 16GB + 512GB model costs Rs. 79,999.

The OnePlus 15 is available starting November 13 at 8 PM via OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, and major retail partners including OnePlus Experience Stores and Reliance Digital.

Launch Offers:

  • Free OnePlus Nord Buds 3 (limited period)
  • ₹4,000 instant discount with HDFC Bank cards
  • Exchange bonus up to ₹4,000
  • 180-day phone replacement plan
  • 6 months no-cost EMI on major credit cards

The OnePlus 15 is a complete flagship that delivers on performance, battery, and design. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 makes it one of the fastest Android phones available, while the 165Hz display and 7,300 mAh battery give it a real edge in usability. However, its ₹72,999–₹79,999 price tag puts it squarely in competition with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 17.
