Battlefield 6 was the top-selling game of the month. The game debuted at No. 1 and shows that the franchise still has a strong fanbase. EA pushed a big marketing campaign around the launch, and it clearly worked. The game was an instant hit and recorded close to 750k concurrent gamers on Steam on then launch day.

At No. 2, Pokémon Legends: Z-A also had a strong debut. Pokémon games always perform well in the U.S., so this is not surprising. Even though Nintendo’s digital sales are not included, the game still ranked high.

Ghost of Yotei stayed stable, moving to No. 3 from No. 4 last month. The game continues to perform well thanks to positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth.

Sports titles also dominated the top 10. NBA 2K26 and EA Sports FC 26 took the fourth and fifth spots. These titles always see high demand during their release window.

Another big new entry was The Outer Worlds 2, which launched at No. 7. Microsoft’s first-party titles usually get a boost from Game Pass, but strong sales show that fans still prefer owning certain single-player games.

Horror and action games also performed well. Little Nightmares III debuted at No. 8, and Ninja Gaiden 4 entered the chart at No. 11.

Older evergreen titles like Minecraft, GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption II continue to appear in the top 20, proving how strong their sales remain even years after launch.

Top Highlights

October was clearly a competitive month, and November will be even bigger with holiday releases coming up. It will be interesting to see if Battlefield 6 can hold its top spot or if upcoming titles will push it down the charts.
