Vivo has announced the rollout schedule for its OriginOS 6 update in India. The company originally launched OriginOS 6 in China on October 10, 2025. This new software comes pre-installed on the Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300, which run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. Now, Vivo has revealed when Indian users can expect the update.
OriginOS 6 Update Timeline in India
The update will be rolled out in phases, starting with the Vivo X200 series in early November 2025. The full rollout will continue through the first half of 2026. Here is the expected schedule:

OriginOS 6 brings several improvements over the previous version. Vivo has introduced the Origin Smooth Engine to make the interface more fluid. It also supports Ultra-core Computing and Memory Fusion technology. According to Vivo, users can open an album with 5,000 photos in just a few seconds. The update also offers 106 percent faster data loading speeds compared with the previous software.
The update introduces a dual-rendering architecture to improve efficiency. The user interface is redesigned with a soft Spring effect that stretches elements and dynamic app icons that adjust based on widget size. Other visual enhancements include Morphing Animations, One-Shot Animations, Light and Shadow Space, and Dynamic Glow and System lighting.
Vivo has also added the Vivo Sans font, which supports more than 40 languages. A new feature called Origin Island provides smart suggestions and live activity information. It can display music controls, copied phone numbers with call or message shortcuts, and meeting details with a one-tap “Join” button. The update also allows connectivity with Apple devices.
