With the app, parents can set up a child’s account with age-based recommendations and decide which games are appropriate. You can also set playtime limits to fit your family’s routine, whether that is during homework, meals, or bedtime.
The app provides an activity report that shows your child’s online status, what game they are currently playing, and total playtime from the past week. Parents also receive real-time notifications whenever their child requests extra playtime, making it easy to approve or decline directly from the phone.
Other features include options to manage social interactions, customize privacy settings, and control spending limits. Parents can decide how much their child can spend on the PlayStation Store, view wallet balances, and even top them up.
