Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic Launched in India

Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic at the Galaxy Unpacked event held today, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 series. These new smartwatches come with a thinner design, improved health tracking, and Samsung’s most advanced AI features yet.

Samsung says both models are the thinnest Galaxy Watches so far, making them more comfortable to wear all day. The design follows the cushion-style look first seen in the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Samsung has also introduced a Dynamic Lug system, which improves both the fit on your wrist and the accuracy of health tracking. Internally, the layout has been redesigned to allow for a 30% better component fit, resulting in an 11% thinner body.

Both watches come with displays that support up to 3,000 nits of brightness, which means better visibility even under direct sunlight.

The new Galaxy Watch8 series is powered by Samsung’s new 3nm processor, which improves overall performance and boosts battery efficiency. The watches also support dual-frequency GPS for more precise tracking when you are outdoors.

Samsung has taken health tracking to the next level with the Galaxy Watch8 series. Here’s what you get:

This is the first Galaxy Watch series to run Wear OS 6, and it comes with Google’s Gemini AI assistant built in. You can now control your watch using natural voice commands for things like sending messages, starting workouts, and navigation.

Samsung’s new One UI 8 Watch interface adds features like Multi-Info Tiles for at-a-glance info, a new Now Bar, and improved notifications designed for circular screens.
