Dell India has refreshed its high-end Alienware gaming laptops in India. The company has introduced Dell Alienware m16 R2 (2024) with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, dedicated AI engine, up to RTX 4060 dedicated GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB SSD.
Dell Alienware m16 R2 (2024) features a 16-inch QHD+ display with 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The display supports 100% sRGB and NVIDIA G-SYNC + Advanced Optimus.
The laptop packs Intel Core Ultra 9 185H with NVIDIA RTX 4060 or NVIDIA RTX 4070. There is also a model with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with NVIDIA RTX 4050. It has up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The company has added a completely redesigned cooling system. It also changed the internal layout to allow this new design to have a 15% smaller footprint.
It has a RGB keyboard. The TouchPad also has an LED light bar around it.
There are several ports including 1x RJ-45, Global headset jack, Global headset jack Type-C Type-C (Thunderbolt 4.0, USB 4 Gen 2, 15W Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 to iGPU), 1x Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2, DisplayPort 1.4 to dGPU), 1x HDMI 2.1 to dGPU Output Port, 1x microSD Card Reader, 1x Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Port, and 1x Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Port. It also has Wi-Fi 7 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
There is a 1080p FHD RGB+IR camera and Dual-array microphones. It supports Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop also has Stereo speakers.
It packs a 90Wh Battery and supports a 240W fast charger.
