Samsung today launched its latest 5G smartphone Samsung Galaxy F15 5G in India. The phone comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Dimensity 6100+ SoC, 50+5+2 MP rear camera, 13MP selfie camera, and 6000mAh battery. The phone starts at Rs. 12999.
Samsung Galaxy F15 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Galaxy F15 5G runs Android 14 with OneUI 6 out of the box. Samsung also promises 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for the phone.
The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It offers 4GB and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM models. The phone also supports up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Both models offer 128GB storage that is further expandable up to 1TB with microSD card.
It has a 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture along with a 5 megapixels ultra-wide camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. The phone has 13 megapixels selfie camera.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quickly unlocking the phone.
Connectivity options of the phone are 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone packs a large 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. However, the phone doesn’t come with a charger in the box.
The phone comes in Ash Black, Jazzy Green, and Groovy Violet colors. It measures 166.8 x 77.2 x 9.4mm and weighs 217g.
Samsung Galaxy F15 5G 4GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 12,999 and the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 14,499. The phone will be available from Flipkart and Samsung India online store and select retail stores starting from March 11th. There is also a Rs. 1000 instant discount with HDFC Bank cards. Samsung will also offer a Samsung charger worth Rs. 1299 at Rs. 299 for a limited period.
