TECNO has launched its latest budget smartphone TECNO POP 8 in India. The phone features a 6.6-inch Dot-In display, Unisoc T606 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, dual rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000 mAh battery.
TECNO POP 8 sports a 6.6-inch Dot-In display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone runs HiOS 13 based on Android 13 Go Edition out of the box. It also features a Dynamic Port, a software feature similar to Dynamic Island.
The phone packs Octa-Core Unisoc T606 12nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 650MHz GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Internal storage is further expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card.
There is a 12 megapixels primary camera with a secondary AI camera and dual LED flash. For selfies, the phone also features an 8 megapixels front camera with dual LED flash.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C. TECNO POP 8 packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
TECNO POP 8 is IPX2 Splash Resistant. The phone measures 163.69×75.6×8.55mm and will be sold in Gravity Black and Mystery White colors.
TECNO POP 8 is priced at Rs. 6,499 and will be available exclusively on Amazon starting 9th January 2024. However, the phone will be available at a special pricing of Rs. 5,999 with bank offers for a limited time.
