Honor has introduced its latest budget phone Honor Play 8T in China. The phone comes with a 6.8-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD display, Dimensity 6080 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, 50+2 MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.
Honor Play 8T features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display. The display panel boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 850 nits brightness. It has a hole punch at the top center of the display for the selfie camera, The phone runs Android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 out of the box.
The phone packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6080 6nm processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes in 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and supports up to an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. You also get 256GB internal storage that is further expandable with a microSD card.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 2 megapixels depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also has an LED flash on the back to assist in low light. For selfies, the phone has 8 megapxiels front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the side button. For a good audio experience, the phone has stereo speakers and supports Hi-Res audio.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C. Honor Play 8T packs a 5000mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
Honor Play 8T comes in Midnight Black, Ink Jade Green, and Streaming Silver colors. It measures 166.7×76.5×8.24mm and weighs 199g.

Honor Play 8T is priced at 1099 yuan for 8GB+256GB and the 12GB+256GB model costs 1299 yuan. It is now available in China.
