HMD Global just launched its latest smartphone Nokia G42 5G in its G series. The phone features a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz display, Snapdragon 480+ SoC, 6GB RAM, triple rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 12599.
Nokia G42 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1612 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 90Hz refresh rate and boasts 450 nots of brightness. There is also Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The phone packs an Octa Core Snapdragon 480+ 8nm processor with Adreno 619 GPU. It has 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Storage is further expandable up to 1TB.
The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 2 megapixels depth camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 megapixels macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The phone also features OZO 3D audio capture that helps record good quality audio while recording video. For series, the phone has 8 megapixels fixed-focus front camera.
Nokia G42 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity.
Nokia G42 5G packs a large 5000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
The phone has an IP52 dust and water-resistant body. It comes in So Grey and So Purple colors. Nokia G42 5G measures 165.0 x 75. 8 x 8.55mm and weighs 193.8g
Nokia G42 5G is priced at Rs. 12,599 and will be available from Amazon.in starting from September 15th.
