OPPO has announced the launch of its latest 4G phone OPPO A78 in India. The phone already sells OPPO A78 5G in the country. OPPO A78 4G features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 680 SoC, 8GB RAM, 50+2 MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 17499.
OPPO A78 4G features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The display panel has a 90Hz Refresh rate, up to 600 nits peak brightness, and supports 95% DCI-P3 color gamut. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to protect the display from scratches. The phone runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 out of the box.
The phone packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and Adreno 610 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. It also has 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Internal storage is further expandable up to 1TB with microSD,
Oppo A78 4G has 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels portrait camera. It also has 8 megapixels front camera for selfies.
The phone has stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
OPPO A78 comes in Aqua Green and Mist Black colors. The Aqua Green variant measures 160.01×73.23×7.99mm. The Mist Black color variant is slightly thick and has a thickness of 7.93mm. The phone weighs 180 grams.
