Motorola has introduced its latest smartphone Motorola edge+ 2023 in the US. The phone is similar to Moto edge 40 Pro with slight changes. Motorola edge+ 2023 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 165Hz pOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, 50+50+12 MP rear camera, 60MP selfie camera, and 5100mAh battery.
Motorola edge+ 2023 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display panel has 1300 nits brightness and supports Dolby Vision. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The phone packs Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4nm processor and Adreno next-gen GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Moto Edge+ runs Android 13 out of the box. The company also promises 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of bi-monthly security updates. The smartphone also has ThinkShield, Moto Secure, and Family Space features.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 50 megapixels 114° ultra-wide autofocus camera with the macro option, and 12 megapixels 2X portrait telephoto camera. It also has 60 megapixels front camera for selfies.
The phone has Stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C Audio. It also has Dolby Atmos for a better audio experience.
The phone has sandblasted aluminium middle frame and a matte glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Motorola edge+ measures 161.16×74×8.59mm and weighs 203g. It is IP68 Water and dust resistant. The phone comes in Interstellar Black color.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone packs a 5100mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.
