Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its latest smartphone Redmi Note 12 in India today. The phone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 685, up to 6GB RAM, 50+8+2 MP rear camera, 13 MP selfie camera, and 5000 mAh battery. The phone starts at Rs. 14999.
Redmi Note 12 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel has 1200 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone features a hole punch for the selfie camera. It runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The phone packs an Octa-Core Snapdragon 685 6nm processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes in two different models: 6+64GB and 6+128GB. Internal storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has an LED flash. For selfies, Redmi Note 12 also comes with 13 megapixels front camera.
Redmi Note 12 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. The phone is also Dust and Splash resistant with IP53 rating. It comes in Lunar Black, Sunrise Gold, and Ice Blue colors. The phone measures 165.66×75.96×7.85mm and weighs 183.5g.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 12 will be available from Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home, Mi Studio, and authorized retail partners starting 6th April, 12 noon. Interested customers can also get flat Rs. 1000 off on ICICI cards. Existing Xiaomi and Redmi users get an additional discount of INR 1500.
