Quora releases its AI chatbot app Poe to public

Poe

Q&A platform Quora has opened its new AI chatbot app Poe to the general public. Poe stands for ‘Platform for Open Exploration.’ Users can use the app to ask questions and get answers from serval AI chatbots from OpenAI and other companies.

You will have to verify your phone number and email address for using the app. Once you create an account, you can choose from one of the three different AI chatbots: Sage, Claude, and Dragonfly. Sage and Dragonfly are powered by OpenAI. Claude chatbot is powered by Anthropic technology. Users can switch between AI chatbots when they want.

Poe also includes social components. Users can create a public profile and follow others. The app also lets users publish model output on their profiles and make it accessible to their followers.

Poe is a standalone product that is independent of Quora. If Poe’s content meets the quality standard, it will be distributed on Quora’s site.

Quora announced Poe app back in December. The app has been available via an invite model. Now anyone can download Peo’s app available for iOS. Poe app is free to download with in-app purchases. It will soon be available for other platforms.
