Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ with 6.67-inch display, Dimensity 1080 launched in India

Along with Redmi Note 12 5G, Xiaomi also launched Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ smartphones in India. These phones only differ in the camera setup. Both phones feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display, Dimensity 1080 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, 5G, and 5000mAh battery. These phones start at Rs. 24,999.

Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Note 12 Pro+ 5G come with 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz variable refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has 900 nits peak brightness and supports Dolby Vision & HDR10+. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Both phones pack the same Dimensity 1080 6nm processor and Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. Redmi Note 12 Pro come in 6+128 GB, 8+128 GB, and 8+256 GB models. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be available in 8+256GB and 12+256GB models.

Redmi Note 12 Pro features a triple camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide angle camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a triple camera setup that includes 200 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide angle camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. For selfies, both phones feature a 16 megapixels front camera.

These phones have Super-linear stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.

Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ feature IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. Redmi Note 12 Pro packs 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ packs 4980mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
