Xiaomi today launched its budget tablet Redmi Pad in India. The tablet comes with a 10.6-inch 2K LCD display, Helio G99, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB storage, MIUI 13, 8 MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 8000 mAh battery. It starts at Rs. 14999.

Redmi Pad features a 10.61-inch 10-bit LCD display with 400 nits brightness and 90Hz refresh. The display also gets TUV Rheinland low blue light certification to offer comfort to your eyes. The tablet runs MIUI 13 for Pad based on Android 12 out of the box. Redmi also promises 2 versions of Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

It packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes in three variants: 3+64GB, 4+128GB, and 6+128GB. Storage is further expandable via a microSD card slot.

The tablet features an 8 megapixels rear camera with Full HD recording and 8 megapixels front camera for selfies. The tablet has Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones setup. It also supports USB Type-C audio.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C. There is no cellular version of this tablet.

Redmi Pad packs a large 8,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

Redmi Pad comes in Graphite Grey, Moonlight Silver, and Mint Green colors. It measures 250.5×158.1×7.1mm and weighs 465g.

Redmi Pad price in India

The company will initially sell these tablets at introductory pricing of Rs. 12,999, Rs. 14,999, and Rs. 16,999, respectively.

Redmi Pad will be available from Flipkart, mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline stores starting from tomorrow, October 5th.
