Along with Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme also launched Realme 9 in India. This phone starts at Rs. 17999.
Realme 9 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display has up to 1000 nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. It runs Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 out of the box.
The phone packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone is offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM options. Both the models pack 129GB UFS 2.1 storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
The rear camera includes 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels B&W portrait camera, and 2 megapixels 4cm macro sensor. It also has a 1 megapixels selfie camera.
Realme 9 comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor that can also measure heart rate. It also has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W Dart Charge fast charging. Realme claims that the phone can be charged up to 50% in 31 minutes.
The phone has a ripple holographic design with plasma atom coating and UV-Nano imprinting. It comes in Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White, and Meteor Black colors. It measures 160.2×73.3×7.99mm and weighs 178g.
