Samsung Galaxy A53 5G with 6.5-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 1280 launched in India starting at Rs. 34499

Last week, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A53 5G. Now the company has launched Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in India. The phone starts at Rs. 34499.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display also boasts up to 800 nits brightness and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1 out of the box.

Samsung also promises 4 major Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates.

The phone packs Octa-Core Exynos 1280 5nm processor with Mali-G68 GPU. It comes in 6+128GB and 8+128GB models. Storage is also expandable up to 1TB.

There is a quad rear camera setup with 64 megapixels primary camera, 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 5 megapixels depth camera, and 5 megapixels macro camera. It also includes a 32 megapixels selfie camera.

Galaxy A53 5G sports an under-display fingerprint sensor. It also has stereo speakers with support to Dolby Atmos. The phone offers 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity. It packs a large 5000 mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. Samsung won’t offer charging adapter with the phone.

It is IP67 water-resistant. The phone measures 159.6×74.8×8.1mm and weighs 189gm. It is offered in Black, White, Light Blue, and Peach colors. The phone has an Ambient Edge design that seamlessly blends the camera with the body of the phone.
