Popular web browser Opera now supports emoji-only based web addresses. The company says this move will bring a new level of creativity to the internet. To enable this option, Opera has partnered with Yat that sells URLs with emoji in them.
Yat owns Y.at domain and sells URLs with emojis in them. You can make a one-time purchase to own a URL with Emoji. Then you can customize your Yat page or redirect it to anywhere else on the web.
Several celebrities including singer Kesha have already been using Yats. singer Kesha’s Yat page redirects to her Kesha’s World website. Kesha’s Yat page includes Rainbow Rocket Alien emojis.
On Opera, you no longer need to type y.at part of the URL. Just enter the Emojis part and it will redirect you to the Yat page automatically. Just type Rainbow Rocket Alien emojis on Opera’s address bar and it will open Kesha’s World website
