As promised, Asus today launched its new smartphone Asus 8z in India. The company is only launching an 8+128GB variant in the country priced at Rs. 42999.
Asus 8z features a 5.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+. The display also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection. It packs an Octa-Core Snapdragon 888 with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB storage.
The phone comes with a triple camera that includes a 64 megapixels primary camera and 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera. It has a dual PD autofocus and can record 8k videos. There is also a 12 megapixels selfie camera with dual PD autofocus.
The phone has IP68 water and dust-resistant body. It measures 148×68.5x9mm and 169 grams. Asus 8z comes in Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver colors.

There is an under-display fingerprint sensor. It also has Stereo speakers with Dual Cirrus Logic CS35L45 amplifier and Dirac HD sound.
Asus 8z offers 5G SA/NSA , Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, Galileo(E1+E5a), QZSS(L1+L5), NavIC(L5), USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity. The phone packs 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
Asus 8z is priced at Rs. 42999 and will be available from Flipkart starting from March 7th.
