OnePlus announced its latest TWS OnePlus Buds Z2. It is the successor to the OnePlus Buds Z and promises longer battery life.
In terms of design, OnePlus Buds Z2 look almost similar to the OnePlus Buds Z but with a more rounded design. New buds also have 15% shorter stems. It comes in two color options: Obsidian Black and Pearl White. Buds are also IP55 water-resistant. The charging case is also IPX4 water-resistant.
Each bug packs 11mm dynamic drivers and promises good sound. It offers rich bass and razor-sharp treble. The sound quality is good as long as you like bass-heavy music.
There are 4 different sound modes including Cinematic Mode, Immersive Music, Mobile Gaming, and Transparency. The gaming mode decreases the sound latency to as low as 94ms.
Each bud packs a 40mAh battery and the charging case packs a 520mAh battery. With ANC on, buds offer up to 5 hours and up to 27 hours with the case, Turning off ANC increases battery life to 7 hours and 38 hours with the charging case.
OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at $99 in the US. In Canada, it will be sold at 149 Canadian dollars.
