Realme to launch world’s first 64MP Quad-Camera phone in India on August 8

Back in June, Realme CEO teased the 64MP camera phone sample and confirmed that the company will launch the world’s first smartphone with a 64MP camera. He also said that the launch will be in India.

Keeping his words, Realme has now confirmed the launch of a new smartphone with 64 MP quad camera in India. Realme will host an event in Delhi on August 8th to reveal the world’s first 64MP Quad Camera phone.

The 64MP GW1 camera sensor offers 1.6µm pixel size. It also uses Pixel-merging Tetracell technology and remosaic algorithm to merge 4 pixels into one and produce 16MP images in low light. This sensor also supports real-time high dynamic range (HDR) of up to 100-decibels.

We do not have many details about the phone, but we know that 64MP quad-camera setup.
