Huawei has announced the launch of its new tablet Huawei Mediapad T5 in the Indian market. It comes in two storage variants and price starts at Rs. 14990.
Huawei Mediapad T5 features a metal body and weighs 460g. It has 10.1-inch Full HD vivid display offering 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by Octa-core Kirin 659 processor that can offer smooth performance and can handle your tasks. There are two variants offering 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
It features dual speakers for an immersive sound experience. The company has also included ‘HUAWEI Histen’ sound effect.
The tablet runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0. There is a dedicated ‘Children’s Corner’ where parents can set limits to their child’s usage and customize the content available. It also features eye-comfort mode for the comfortable reading experience. The Posture Guidance makes sure your child doesn’t read the tablet when lying down. So, you can safely let your kid use this tablet.
It has 5 megapixels autofocus rear camera and 2 megapixels fixed focus front camera. It lacks LED flash but tablets are not meant for photography.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB. The 5100 mAH battery also promises longer battery life.
The 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant costs Rs. 14990 and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage option costs Rs. 16990. Huawei has also announced an introductory launch offer formerly customers. They will get a flip cover and Huawei Earphone AM 12 worth Rs. 2,998 for free.
Huawei Mediapad T5 will be available starting July 10 from Amazon.in.
