LG K12+ with 5.7-inch FullVision display, Helio P22, military-level durability announced

LG has just announced a new phone in its K series of smartphones in Brazil. The new addition is the K12+. The phone looks similar to LG K40 that was introduced at MWC earlier this year.

The phone has a dedicated Google Assistant button. It is also MIL-STD 810G certified for offering military-level durability. The phone can withstand impact, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity It weighs 150 grams and dimensions of the phone measure 153.0 x 71.9 x 8.3mm.

LG K12+ features a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display. It still features an old design with enough space at the top and bottom of the display. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo). It packs 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12 nm processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

It has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage with an option to expand storage.

LG K12+ features a 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and PDAF> The phone also comes with an 8 megapixels front camera with LED flash. The camera app of the phone come supports HDR and comes with Google Lens integration for image recognition.

It features DTS:X 3D Surround Sound for offering 3D Cinema Sound. The phone has a fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS. It packs 3000 mAh battery.

LG K12+ comes in Moroccan Blue, Black, and New Platinum Gray color options.

The phone is priced at 1,199 Brazilian Real that is approx. USD 305. Now the phone is available in Brazil.
