BlackBerry KEYone with 4.5-inch display, QWERTY keypad announced

BlackBerry announced its latest smartphone BlackBerry KEYone at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. This phone was designed by BlackBerry and is made by TCL Communication Technology (TCT).

BlackBerry KEYone comes with 4.5-inch display wth 3:2 aspect ratio and 1620 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 4-row QWERTY physical backlit keyboard with keys that respond to touch gestures as well. It also comes with support for flick typing. The fingerprint sensor is located on the spacebar.

It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage with the option to expand storage up to 2TB. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 4K video recording. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.2.

BlackBerry KEYone comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC and USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity. It also has 3505mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The phone is priced at US$ 549 / 599 Euros / 499 GBP depending on the market. It will be available globally starting April this year.
