Xiaomi has just announced its latest flagship smartphone at an event in China. This phone comes in Dark Gry and Gold colors with glossy brushed metal finish. Solver and Rose gold color variants come with frosted Matte finish. It has full metal unibody design with 8.25 mm thickness that makes it slightly thicker than the Mi 5.
It is available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. 3GB RAM with 64 GB storage variant is priced at 1999 Yuan while 4GB RAM with 128GB variant costs 2299 yuan.
Xiaomi Mi 5S comes with 5.15 full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU.
It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording, Sony IMX378 1/2.3-inch sensor and PDAF. It has 4-megapixels front camera f/2.0 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens and 1080p video recording.
It has Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Fingerprint sensor is on its home button.
Connectivity options of this phone include 4G LTE connectivity with 3x carrier aggregation support, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. It is packed with 3200 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
